On this postcolonial city tour, we want to look at Göttingen through a new lens: Who participated in colonialism in Göttingen and profited from it? How do we commemorate the colonial era locally? And how do colonial racist ideas continue to shape our societies today? Sarah Böger, anti-discrimination trainer and founding member of Göttingen Postkolonial, will take us to many well-known places to retell the history of Göttingen from a postcolonial perspective.
